Strategic Solutions�offers ColdFusion on all of our hosting packages: Linux Value, Linux Standard, Linux Developer, Linux Enterprise, Win Value, Win Standard, Win Developer, and Win Enterprise.

Tag Restrictions:

Strategic Solutions allows customers access to all ColdFusion tags except the following: CFREGISTRY and CFEXECUTE. Customers wishing to use these tags will need to run their own dedicated server.

Custom Tag Registration:

Strategic Solutions allows for the registration and usage of Custom Tag Templates written in CFML, CFX Tags written in C++ or Java, and the registration of Custom DLL's. There is no limit to the number that can be used but each must be submitted to support for approval. Strategic Solutions reserves the right to reject or approve the Custom Tag entirely at its discretion.

Schedule Tasks:

Each hosting account includes one ColdFusion scheduled task. Additional tasks may be purchased as an account add-on.

Debugging:

ColdFusion has the ability to print out variable information and debug messages for a specified IP address. This allows internet viewers to see a website normally, while providing this useful information to the web developer. Each hosting account includes one IP address that will receive the debug messages. Additional IP's for debugging may be purchased as an account add-on.

Flash Remoting:

Adobe Flash Remoting provides the connection between Adobe Flash and our web application server, making it fast and easy to create Rich Internet Applications that blend content, applications, and communications. Supported with any of our ColdFusion hosting packages, Flash Remoting allows you to easily integrate rich Adobe Flash content with applications built using Adobe ColdFusion, Microsoft .NET, and SOAP-based web services, along with Flex, Adobe's cross-platform development framework for creating Rich Internet Applications. Flex enables you to create expressive, high-performance applications using the powerful, yet simple, programming model for Flash Remoting.

Verity:

Verity search provides a means for creating and managing collections of indexed data that are optimized for fast retrieval. Customers may use the Verity searching and indexing technology, including Language Packs, for no additional charge. Customers are responsible for the indexing, purging and maintenance of their own Verity Collections. Paid support is available on an hourly basis, please email sales for an estimate.

Use of the Verity K2 Server is not a part of any hosting package but may be purchased as an account add-on.

RDS (Remote Development Services):

Strategic Solutions no longer offers RDS. Customers may download a fully functioning, non expiring version of ColdFusion server for developing on their local machines.
